Fans of Gurdas Maan, the living legend as he is so widely known, are running to the music stores to just get his latest blockbuster album “Boot Polishan” released this month.

The album titled “Boot Polishan” showcases real life issues with which one (everyone) can relate to and feel. Coming out with songs on such themes is Gurdas Maan’s specialty which is hardly seen in other punjabi songs and this Gurdas had been the long time source to fullfill this void in the Punjabi music industry.

The new album’s packaging is also done carefully with added informational leaflets with an 18 page full colour inlay consisting English translations for each song to help his listnership which ranges from the young to the old. The enclosed translation will prove essential for many non-punjabi fans abroad who love the tunes and beats and now they will also get the meaning of the songs too.

“Boot Polishan” is composed with eight punjabi tracks and all tracks are worth praising and are seen as Classics of Gurdas.

Boot Polishan
Challie
Cycle
Dillan De Jaani (Tribute to our beloved Manoj Punj)
Taare Gawah Ne
Sakhiye Saheliye
Mappe
Bhagat Singh

“Challie”, is an off shoot to the master piece “Challa” and “Sakhiye Saheliyen” is a beautiful love song, that falls into the league of classic love songs such as “Peer Tere Jaandi”. Also included is a powerful patriotic track titled Bhagat Singh and Dillan De Jaani dedicated to the late Manoj Punj. Boot Polishan again a meaningful hard hitting track which again qualifies as an all time classic. Music videos to 4 tracks will also be broadcast on all major Asian tv stations within the coming days and again, Gurdas Maan proves, that there’s no need for fancy models in order to enhance music. It should be all in the lyrics.
