The website carefully crafted to raise the alarm the people in USA the marriage age limit differences in several states of USA has turned out to be the big hit among parents and grooms as per msnbc newsweek. The website MarryOurDaughter.com is a controversial Web site purporting to be a place for families to sell their teenage daughters as brides is revealed to be bogus on which it showcases profile as being posted by parents of young teen girls of average age of 15 ready to sell thei daughter for an average price of $20,000 .

The website owner, John Ordover, a viral-marketing consultant based in Brooklyn, N.Y., gave NEWSWEEK access to his gmail account where all emails were forwarded to reveals the proposals recieved from grooms for the profiles on the website. As per newsweek it turns out, Ordover’s intentions go deeper than poking fun. He says he was hired by a group of women from a local support group who’d been married out in similar fashions—and wanted to draw attention to a very real problem.

The problem raised by John focuses on USA only but there is a need to raise voice in other countires also where people are really selling their daughters for an hefty amount directly or indirectly. In Asian countries you can see everyday this happening where parents settle the marriage for foriegn groom in the hope that their daughter will settle abroad in countires like USA, Canada , UK etc. Even sometimes grooms pay an amount to marry young girls who does not matches their age. When will that issue be taken on board.
